Preparation
- Start by peeling and dicing the mangoes. For the strawberries, hull them and slice into halves or quarters, depending on their size.
- In a blender, combine the diced mangoes and sliced strawberries. Add about 2 cups of cold water and blend until smooth.
- If you prefer a smoother texture, pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a large pitcher, using a spatula to push the juice through, leaving any pulp behind.
- To your pitcher, add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, remaining 2 cups of cold water, and honey or sugar. Stir well until the sweetener is fully dissolved and the mixture is combined.
- Give your lemonade a taste test and adjust the sweetness or tang as needed. If it's too tart, add more sweetener; if it's too sweet, add a splash of lemon juice.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour over the mango strawberry lemonade, and garnish with mint leaves if desired. Enjoy immediately!
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. This drink is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If it separates, simply stir before serving again. Experiment with different fruits like peaches or blueberries for a delicious twist!
