  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled (Halal)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the pancake mix, water, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir well until you create a smooth batter.
  2. Gently fold in the crumbled cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese into the batter until evenly distributed.
Cooking
  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly coat it with cooking spray or oil.
  2. Using a tablespoon, scoop the batter mixture onto the skillet, creating small round bites, about 2 inches in diameter.
  3. Allow the bites to cook for about 3-4 minutes until you see bubbles forming on the top and the edges begin to brown, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until golden.
  4. Once cooked, remove the bites from the skillet and keep them warm on low heat until all batches are completed. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces!

Notes

For substitutions, consider using turkey sausage or vegetarian options with diced veggies. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a toaster oven or microwave.
