Cooking
- Add heavy cream and vegetable or chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for around 10-12 minutes or until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted into a creamy sauce.
- Add salt and pepper to taste, adjusting for preference.
- Top with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For variations, use Halal-friendly cheeses or add spinach or cherry tomatoes for more nutrients. Avoid overcooking the pasta to prevent mushiness. To reheat leftovers, add a splash of milk or broth and heat gently.
