  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can also make your own
  • 1 cup chicken broth Low-sodium recommended
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Added for creaminess

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season boneless, skinless chicken thighs lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, combine ranch seasoning mix, cream of mushroom soup, and chicken broth, stirring until well blended.
  3. Place seasoned chicken thighs at the bottom of the crock pot and pour the creamy ranch mixture over the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crock pot and set it on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  2. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in sour cream for extra creaminess.
  3. Adjust seasoning to taste and allow it to cook to meld flavors.
Serving
  1. Once cooking is complete, shred the chicken using two forks.
  2. Serve hot and add your favorite toppings like cilantro and green onions.

Notes

Chicken thighs are recommended for their juiciness, but boneless chicken breasts can be used. Cook time may vary. For an extra kick, add hot sauce to the ranch mixture.
