  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups diced apples (peeled and cored; any variety you prefer) Use a mix of sweet and tart apples for best flavor
  • 1 cup chopped nuts or raisins Optional for added texture
For the Glaze (optional)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk together until evenly mixed.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the oil, milk, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Gently fold in the diced apples and nuts or raisins if using.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Cool the bread in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Glazing (optional)
  1. If adding the glaze, mix the powdered sugar and milk until smooth, and drizzle it over the cooled bread.
