Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Tear off a large piece of aluminum foil and lay it flat on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the grated parmesan cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, parsley, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir well until everything is nicely combined.
- Place your salmon fillets on the foil with skin side down. Generously spread the parmesan mixture over each fillet.
- Fold the sides of the aluminum foil over the salmon to create a sealed packet, ensuring it's tightly secured.
- Place the foil packet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Carefully unwrap the foil, add lemon slices on top, and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, make sure to seal the foil properly; a loose envelope can dry out the salmon. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
