Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar Can be replaced with sugar based on preference.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
Garnish
  • 2 green onions, chopped For garnish and added flavor.
  • sesame seeds For garnish.

Method

Cooking the Noodles
  1. Boil a large pot of water, adding a pinch of salt. Cook the spaghetti or noodles according to package instructions, about 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Preparing the Sauce
  1. While the noodles are cooking, mix together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey or sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl. Whisk until fully combined.
Combining Everything
  1. Drain the cooked noodles and return them to the pot. Pour the sauce over the noodles, stirring gently to coat every strand.
Garnishing & Serving
  1. Add the chopped green onions and toss again. Serve hot, with a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top.

Notes

For lower-carb options, substitute spaghetti with rice noodles or zucchini noodles. Watch the noodle cooking time closely to avoid mushiness. For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, reheating with a splash of water or sesame oil to regain texture.
