  • 1 whole whole cauliflower (medium-sized) Look for a firm head with tightly packed florets.
  • 4 tablespoons butter (melted) Melt before use.
  • 2 cloves of garlic (minced) Enhances the flavor of the butter sauce.

  • to taste Fresh herbs (such as parsley or thyme, for garnishing) Adds freshness and a pop of color.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Carefully remove the leaves from the base of the cauliflower, and cut off any tough stem. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk to blend the ingredients.
  4. Generously brush the butter mixture all over the cauliflower, ensuring it's well covered.
Roasting
  1. Place the cauliflower in a baking dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  2. Roast for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and continue roasting for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown and tender when pierced.
Serving
  1. Drizzle any remaining butter sauce over the roasted cauliflower and garnish with fresh herbs before slicing it into wedges.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider experimenting with toppings such as smoked paprika or a squeeze of lemon juice. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
