  • 4-6 pieces fresh jalapeños, diced Remove seeds for a milder flavor if desired.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup crushed tortilla chips or breadcrumbs For topping.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fold in the diced jalapeños and half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses into the cream cheese mix until well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with the remaining cheese and crushed tortilla chips or breadcrumbs.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
Serving
  1. Allow it to cool for a few minutes, then serve and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with a fresh garden salad, coleslaw, or corn salad. Pair with iced tea or fruity soda to balance the casserole's heat.
