- Add the chicken or vegetable broth to the pot. Stir in the thyme, salt, and pepper. Increase the heat until the soup starts to boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the soup simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Before serving, taste the soup and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Ladle into bowls, and consider garnishing with additional thyme or a sprinkle of black pepper.
