Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Rinse the brisket under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket, ensuring to cover every edge.
- Place the seasoned brisket in a roasting pan, fat side up. Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce around the brisket.
Cooking
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil and roast the brisket in the preheated oven for about 4-6 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 190°F (88°C).
- Once done, remove the brisket from the oven and allow it to rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
Serving
- Slice the brisket against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
Feel free to customize the spice mix. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat gently in the oven with added broth for moisture.
