Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and sprinkle Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper evenly on top.
Baking
- Bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Making the Avocado Lime Sauce
- While the salmon is baking, combine the peeled avocados, lime juice, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Serving
- Once the salmon is done baking, remove it from the oven and serve immediately topped with a generous dollop of the avocado lime sauce. Don’t forget to sprinkle fresh cilantro on top for added flavor!
Notes
Adjust spice levels by using less Cajun seasoning or opt for a mild version. Store uneaten salmon and avocado sauce in airtight containers in the refrigerator. The salmon will stay fresh for up to 3 days; the avocado sauce is best consumed fresh within 1 day. Reheat salmon gently in the oven.
