Preparation
- Rinse the chicken under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides of the chicken generously with salt and black pepper.
Glaze Preparation
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and extra black pepper.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Pour the honey mixture over the chicken in the skillet and let it simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes.
Serving
- Transfer the glazed chicken to a serving dish and drizzle remaining sauce from the skillet on top.
- Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in half the honey glaze for an hour before cooking. Adjust sweetness and heat by adding more honey or red pepper flakes if desired.
