Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken thighs (boneless, skinless) Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2 tbsp honey Can be substituted with maple syrup or agave syrup for a vegan option.
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce Ensure it’s halal-certified.
  • 1 tbsp sriracha Adjust to your preferred spice level.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish Chopped for serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by washing and patting the chicken thighs dry. Cut them into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well-blended.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Marinate for at least 10-15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 8-10 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown.
  2. Remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For best results, ensure your skillet is hot before adding the chicken and avoid overcrowding the pan.
