  • 1 medium medium cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Use honey for a sweeter taste or maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust according to your spice preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  3. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, honey (or maple syrup), garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  4. Toss the cauliflower florets in the mixture until fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and tender, stirring halfway through.
  3. Once done, let it cool slightly and enjoy the sweet and spicy goodness!

Notes

For a tamer flavor, reduce or omit the cayenne pepper. Feel free to try other spices like cumin or turmeric for a unique twist. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
