- In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and olive oil until well combined to make your glaze.
- Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring it’s evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 15-20 minutes.
Cooking
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- For grilling, place the salmon skin-side down on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes. Flip and glaze again with leftover marinade. For baking, place salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
- Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill or oven, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and top with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Select the freshest salmon for better flavor and texture. Marinate for up to an hour for deeper flavor infusion. Monitor the cooking time to avoid dryness.
