- Pat the tuna steaks dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Carefully place the seasoned tuna steaks in the hot skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, aiming for a nice sear while keeping the inside slightly pink.
- During the last minute of cooking, drizzle the soy sauce and lemon juice over the tuna steaks to enhance the flavor.
Serving
- Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a minute before slicing. Serve it with your favorite sides and enjoy!
