Method

Preparation
  1. Start by peeling and cutting the potatoes into bite-sized cubes. Ensure they are of uniform size for even cooking.
  2. In a large pot of salted water, add the potato cubes and bring to a boil. Cook for about 10 minutes or until just tender but not fully cooked. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, red chili powder, cumin, lemon juice, and salt. Toss gently to ensure all the cubes are well coated in the seasoning.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the potato mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the potatoes are crispy and golden brown, tossing halfway through for even cooking.
  2. Once ready, remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh cilantro for a vibrant finish. Serve your Spicy Lebanese Potatoes hot, and enjoy!

Notes

To elevate your Spicy Lebanese Potatoes, consider these pro-tips: Use paprika for a milder flavor or add a touch of cayenne for an extra kick. Be careful not to overcook the potatoes while boiling; they should be firm yet tender. Allow the potatoes to cool slightly before tossing them in the oil and spices to prevent sogginess. Leftover Spicy Lebanese Potatoes can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
