  • 2 pieces jalapenos, chopped Adjust spice level as desired
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh cilantro

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and trim the chicken breasts as necessary and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss in the chopped jalapenos and mix well.
  3. Add the chicken to the bowl and ensure each piece is evenly coated. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Add the marinated chicken breasts to the hot skillet. Cook each side for about 5-7 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  3. Once done, garnish with freshly chopped cilantro.
Serving
  1. Plate the chicken and serve warm, optionally alongside a salad or rice.

Notes

To store, allow the chicken to cool completely before placing in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. For freezing, use freezer-safe containers or bags for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
