Preparation
- Start by cutting your steak into bite-sized pieces. Make sure they’re uniform in size for even cooking. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a medium bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Stir until well mixed.
Cooking
- Place the steak pieces into your slow cooker and pour the honey garlic sauce over them. Gently toss to coat the steak evenly.
- Cover and cook on low heat for about 4-5 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, until the steak is tender and infused with flavor.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, mix the cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Stir this mixture into the slow cooker to help thicken your sauce.
Serving
- Once done, garnish with chopped green onions if desired and serve warm.
Notes
These bites can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze leftovers and reheat in the microwave or stovetop over medium-low heat.
