Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Ensure chicken thighs are thawed and trim any excess fat if desired.
  2. In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and melted butter; stir until well blended.
  3. In the slow cooker, place chicken thighs in a single layer and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the honey garlic butter mixture over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Cover and set slow cooker on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
  6. Once cooked, remove chicken thighs and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve with steamed rice or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For substitutions, use maple syrup instead of honey for a different flavor. Adjust cooking times based on the size of chicken thighs. Avoid overcooking as it may dry out the chicken. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F or use a microwave.
