  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Use this only if desired for extra depth of flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust to your personal preference.
  • to taste Fresh parsley for garnish Adds color and freshness to the dish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the beef chuck into bite-sized pieces and season them generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.
  3. In your slow cooker, combine the seasoned beef, diced potatoes, sautéed garlic butter, beef broth, and soy sauce (if using).
Cooking
  1. Cover your slow cooker and set it to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender.
  2. Once cooked, give it a gentle stir, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, consider browning the beef in a skillet before adding it to the slow cooker. You can add other veggies like carrots for extra nourishment. Leftovers can be stored in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or stovetop, adding beef broth to keep it moist if necessary.
