Preparation
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In the bottom of the slow cooker, pour in the diced tomatoes.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts on top of the diced tomatoes.
- In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, minced garlic, and additional Italian seasoning, then pour over the chicken.
Cooking
- Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 6-7 hours, or 3-4 hours on high.
- About 15 minutes before serving, add the chopped fresh basil.
Serving
- Plate the chicken and spoon the sauce over, then enjoy!
Notes
For storage, leftovers can be kept in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to three months. Reheat on stovetop or microwave with a splash of water or cream to maintain creaminess.
