  • 1 pound Italian or Halal sausage of your choice Key sausage
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced Yellow or red
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  3. Chop the bell peppers and onion into thin slices.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the sliced sausage, bell peppers, and onions with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning until well-coated.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake for about 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
  2. Once the sausage is cooked through and the veggies are tender and slightly caramelized, remove from the oven.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy your meal!

Notes

Feel free to swap the sausage for chicken sausage or offer a vegetarian option. Cut ingredients evenly to ensure they cook at the same rate. Don't overcrowd the pan, and add spices for extra kick if desired.
