Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the bell peppers and onions into thin strips.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced veggies with the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Toss until everything is well coated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned vegetables on one side of the pan, leaving room for the sausages.
- Place the Halal sausages on the other side of the sheet pan.
Cooking
- Put the sheet pan in the preheated oven and roast for about 25-30 minutes, stirring the veggies halfway through.
- Ensure the sausages are thoroughly cooked and the veggies are tender and slightly caramelized.
- Once done, remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve hot!
Notes
Try using different types of sausages like chicken or turkey for variety. Be cautious not to crowd the pan to avoid steaming.
