Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 tube crescent roll dough Use refrigerated crescent roll dough.
  • 1 pound cooked sausage Ground turkey or chicken can be used for a leaner option.
  • 8 oz cream cheese Should be softened before mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt Adds flavor to the filling.
  • to taste Pepper Freshly ground preferred.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until it’s browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well-blended and creamy.
  4. Open the tube of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it. Separate the dough into triangles, keeping them on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Place a generous spoonful of the sausage mixture at the wider end of each triangle. Carefully roll the dough around the filling starting from the wider end, tucking in the sides as you go to form a crescent shape.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden and flaky.
  7. Once baked, let them cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy these little delights while they’re warm!
