Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
- Mix in the crushed vanilla wafers, orange juice, and orange zest until well incorporated.
- Scoop out spoonfuls of the mixture and roll them into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the formed truffles onto a lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 15-20 minutes to firm up.
Coating
- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the white chocolate chips and vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring they are coated, and return them to the baking sheet.
- Before the white chocolate sets, sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers or orange zest on top.
- Chill the truffles again for another 15 minutes to set completely.
