For the Latte
  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy) Experiment with almond, oat, or soy for unique flavors.
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste; can substitute with honey or sugar alternatives.
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice Plus additional for garnish.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • whipped cream (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by brewing 1 cup of your favorite espresso or strong coffee.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add 1 cup of milk. Heat it until steaming hot but not boiling—about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Whisk in the 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and the 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract into the heated milk until well combined.
  4. Pour the brewed coffee into your favorite mug and slowly add the flavored milk mixture to it.
  5. Top with whipped cream, if using, and sprinkle additional pumpkin pie spice on top.
  6. Enjoy and appreciate your creation!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently before enjoying.
