  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the flavor profile.
  • to taste whipped cream For topping.
  • to taste additional pumpkin pie spice For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Brew the espresso using your preferred method until it's rich and flavorful.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Stir for 2-3 minutes until blended and fragrant.
  3. Gradually add your milk to the pumpkin mixture, stirring constantly, and heat until warmed through.
  4. If desired, froth the milk mixture until light and airy.
  5. Pour the brewed espresso into a large mug, then gently mix in the warm pumpkin spice mixture.
  6. Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.

Notes

Consider using maple syrup instead of sugar for a natural sweetness. Avoid overheating milk to maintain creaminess. Multiply ingredients for larger batches while keeping ratios consistent.
