Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a food processor, combine the rinsed black beans, peanut butter, honey, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
- Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Drop small amounts of the batter into the prepared dish.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
For optimal texture, do not overbake. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze individually for up to three months. Microwave for 10-15 seconds to enjoy later.
