Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until they’re tender and fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.
- Increase the heat to high, and add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the steak is browned. Remove from heat.
- Place the bottom halves of the slider buns onto a baking dish. Layer the steak and veggie mixture on top, and then place a slice of provolone cheese over each one. Cover with the top halves of the buns.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
- Once done, let cool for a minute. Slice apart and serve warm with optional condiments!
Notes
Serve with crispy potato wedges, fresh side salad, coleslaw, or pickles. Pair with your favorite soda or iced tea for a complete meal.
