Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 sheet 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 ounces 1 round of brie cheese (about 8 ounces)
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional, for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares big enough to wrap around your brie.
  3. Cut the brie into smaller chunks for easier management.
  4. Place a piece of brie in the center of each pastry square, drizzle with honey, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle your choice of chopped nuts on top.
  5. Gently fold the corners of the pastry over the brie, pinching them together to seal, and place the bites seam-side down on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
  2. Allow them to cool slightly before serving and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

These bites are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 1 month. To reheat, bake directly from the fridge or freezer at 375°F (190°C).
