Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, flour, and milk until smooth. Then, add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cobbler to cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
For the best texture, do not overmix the batter. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
