Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Decoration Ingredients
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips for decoration
  • pretzel sticks for spider legs
  • candy eyes optional, to complete the look

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, egg, baking soda, and vanilla extract. Stir together until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop out portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each ball.
  4. Lightly flatten each dough ball with your fingers or the bottom of a glass.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Press chocolate chips into the tops of the cookies to resemble eyes.
  3. While still warm, insert pretzel sticks into the sides to form spider legs.
Cooling
  1. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  2. Enjoy your adorable creations!

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Leftovers can be frozen for up to a month.
