  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Choose plain or seasoned according to preference.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For both the broccoli and topping.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional) Adds extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  3. In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using). Mix well.
  4. Place the broccoli florets on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture generously over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender and the topping is golden brown.
Serving
  1. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For freezing, cool completely first. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes to restore crispiness.
