- Crush the Oreos: Start by placing your Oreos in a ziplock bag and use a rolling pin to crush them into fine crumbs. You could also use a food processor for a finer texture.
- Combine the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs, protein powder, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract.
- Mix it Up: Use a spatula, or even your hands, to mix everything until it forms a sticky dough. Make sure you thoroughly combine all the ingredients.
- Roll into Balls: Once combined, scoop out the mixture with a tablespoon and roll it into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Chill: Place the rolled protein balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow them to set and firm up.
- Serve: Enjoy your delicious Oreo Protein Balls straight from the fridge or store them for later!
Notes
For decorative touch, roll the protein balls in additional Oreo crumbs or cocoa powder before chilling. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
