Preparation
- In a bowl, whisk together fresh orange juice, orange zest, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare the grill.
Cooking
- Remove the fillets from the marinade and place them skin-side down on a baking sheet or grill. Drizzle the remaining marinade over the top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or grill for about 6–8 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
- Remove from heat and let the salmon rest for a few minutes. Optionally, sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the delightful flavors!
Notes
For a sweeter glaze, add more honey or maple syrup. Adjust cooking times based on the thickness of the salmon fillets. Pair with steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
