- Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Lightly season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the hot pan and let it melt.
- Carefully place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- While the salmon cooks, mix together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Gently flip the salmon fillets over and pour the honey garlic sauce over them. Let them cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, basting them with the sauce as they cook.
- Add the remaining butter into the pan and allow it to melt into the sauce. Cook for another minute until everything is nicely coated and the salmon is cooked through.
- Remove the skillet from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, use a skillet over low heat or microwave carefully to avoid drying out the salmon.
