- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add the vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold the diced apples into the batter, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the loaf to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For varied flavor, try mixing different apple varieties. Avoid overmixing to prevent a tough loaf.
