Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are completely integrated (but not overmixed!).
- Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased baking dish.
- Spread ketchup over the top of the loaf to create a flavorful glaze.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, wrap individual portions in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven at 350°F (175°C).
