- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
- In a separate bowl, warm the almond or peanut butter with the honey or maple syrup until well-combined and pourable.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until the oats are coated evenly.
- Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the dish and press down firmly.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set.
- Once set, remove from the dish using parchment paper, slice into bars, and enjoy your no-bake chocolate oat bars!
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze individually for up to three months. To enjoy, thaw in the fridge or at room temperature.
