  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil For cooking the chicken

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice your chicken breast into thin pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and ginger. Add the sliced chicken to the bowl, mixing well to ensure it’s coated evenly. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Stir in the mandarin orange segments during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
Serving
  1. Garnish your dish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, consider freezing the cooked chicken, which lasts up to 2 months. Gently reheat with a splash of water or broth to maintain texture.
