Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth Add more if needed to keep the mixture moist.
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste salt and pepper Be cautious not to over-season.
  • 6 slider buns Consider toasting for added crunch.
  • to taste pickles (optional) Add for extra flavor.

Method

Cooking the Beef and Onions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and finely chopped onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally to break up the meat.
Seasoning the Mixture
  1. Once the meat is cooked, drain any excess fat from the skillet. Add in the beef broth, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Simmering the Mixture
  1. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. If it seems dry, add a little more beef broth.
Preparing the Buns
  1. While the mixture simmers, slice your slider buns in half and lightly toast them if you prefer a bit of crunch.
Assembling the Sliders
  1. Scoop a generous helping of the beef mixture onto the bottom half of each bun. Top with pickles or any additional toppings you desire, then cap with the top half of the bun.
Serving
  1. Serve your Maid-Rite Sliders warm, and enjoy!

Notes

For Halal-friendly alternatives, use ground chicken or turkey. Make the beef mixture ahead of time to allow the flavors to meld. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months.
