Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Add the chilled, cubed butter to the dry mixture and blend until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Pour in the milk gradually, stirring gently until the dough just comes together.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, pat the dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter or round glass.
  6. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and brush the tops with melted butter for added flavor. Serve warm.

Notes

Tips: Use cold butter for flakiness, handle the dough gently, and feel free to add herbs for extra flavor. Store cooled biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or freeze for longer storage. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
