Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Add the chilled, cubed butter to the dry mixture and blend until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the milk gradually, stirring gently until the dough just comes together.
- On a lightly floured surface, pat the dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter or round glass.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and brush the tops with melted butter for added flavor. Serve warm.
