Juicy Air Fryer Chicken Breast

Perfectly seasoned and incredibly juicy, this Air Fryer Chicken Breast is a quick, healthy, and foolproof recipe. With just a few simple ingredients, you’ll have tender, flavorful chicken in less than 20 minutes — ideal for meal prep or weeknight dinners!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 8 oz / 225 g each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano optional

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Meat thermometer (recommended)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs
  • Brush or spoon

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  3. Brush or rub olive oil evenly over both sides of the chicken.
  4. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and oregano.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the chicken.
  6. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer (do not overlap).
  7. Cook for 9–10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 8–9 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Cooking times may vary based on the size of your chicken breasts and air fryer model.
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes before cooking.
Use the leftovers in salads, sandwiches, or wraps.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
