Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Create a well in the center and add the warm milk, softened butter, and eggs. Mix until a dough begins to form.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
- Once risen, punch the dough down and turn it out onto a floured surface. Divide it into equal pieces and shape them into balls.
- Place the dough balls in a greased baking pan, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- While the rolls are rising, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown. Brush with melted butter for that irresistible shine!
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
Notes
For best results, remember to knead the dough thoroughly to develop gluten and don’t overbake the rolls. Consider incorporating garlic powder or herbs into the dough for added flavor.
