Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Toss until the apples are well coated.
- Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
Filling and Sealing
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each triangle. Drizzle a bit of caramel sauce over the apples.
- Gently fold the corners of the triangle over the filling and pinch to seal tightly, ensuring there are no gaps.
Baking
- Place the filled bombs seam-side down on the baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Once cooled slightly, drizzle caramel sauce over the tops.
- Enjoy warm, with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
Notes
To ensure perfect bombs, use a mixture of sweet and tart apples, keep the dough chilled until ready, and seal well to prevent leaking. Brush the tops with melted butter for added crispiness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
