  • 2 cups broccoli florets Can steam quickly in the microwave or stovetop.
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Preparation
  1. Slice beef thinly against the grain to ensure tenderness.
  2. Mince the garlic and ginger.
Cooking
  1. Set Instant Pot to 'Sauté' and heat vegetable oil.
  2. Add the beef, season lightly with salt and pepper, and sauté until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, then pour it over the beef and stir.
  4. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set to pressure cook for 10 minutes with the valve set to 'sealing.'
  5. While beef is cooking, steam the broccoli florets.
  6. After cooking, perform a quick release of the pressure, then add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce. Stir until combined.
  7. Gently fold in steamed broccoli, coating it with the sauce, and serve over cooked rice.

Notes

For a different variation, try using chicken or lamb. Ensure meat is sliced against the grain for tenderness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 3 months.
