Preparation
- Slice beef thinly against the grain to ensure tenderness.
- Mince the garlic and ginger.
Cooking
- Set Instant Pot to 'Sauté' and heat vegetable oil.
- Add the beef, season lightly with salt and pepper, and sauté until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, then pour it over the beef and stir.
- Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set to pressure cook for 10 minutes with the valve set to 'sealing.'
- While beef is cooking, steam the broccoli florets.
- After cooking, perform a quick release of the pressure, then add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce. Stir until combined.
- Gently fold in steamed broccoli, coating it with the sauce, and serve over cooked rice.
Notes
For a different variation, try using chicken or lamb. Ensure meat is sliced against the grain for tenderness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 3 months.
