Preparation
- Brew your coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature or place it in the refrigerator for rapid chilling.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled coffee, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir well until blended.
- Gradually add the milk (or milk alternative) to the coffee mixture and stir gently.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the pumpkin coffee mixture over the ice.
- If desired, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
If you want to avoid canned pumpkin, you can easily make your own puree by roasting fresh pumpkin. Allow brewed coffee to chill adequately before mixing to prevent dilution from the ice. Store in the refrigerator for up to two days.
