Preparation
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil for frying.
- Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and other spices.
Cooking
- Cook the chicken in the hot skillet for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
- Reduce heat and pour hot honey sauce over the chicken, tossing to coat. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to thicken the sauce.
Assembly
- Slice slider buns in half and place a piece of glazed chicken on the bottom half.
- Top with shredded lettuce, pickles, and a drizzle of mayonnaise. Optionally, sprinkle with shredded cheese before placing the top half of bun.
Serving
- Assemble all sliders and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Use crispy fried onions on top for an extra crunch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze chicken for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven to retain crispiness.
